Some books are easy to put down and return to later. The Housemaid wasn't one of them. It had me hooked from the start, and I ended up finishing it in just a few hours because I simply couldn't put it down.

What worked best for me was the fast pacing and the way the story kept me guessing. Every time I thought I had figured things out, another twist came along to pull me back in. The suspense kept building, making it difficult to stop at just one more chapter.

As my first Freida McFadden read, this was quite an introduction! It was addictive, entertaining, and exactly the kind of thriller that makes you want to keep reading until you reach the final page.

A fast-paced, twist-filled thriller that got me hooked on Freida McFadden's books.
