Personal Review

I picked up Project Hail Mary expecting a science-heavy read, and at first I thought it might take me a while to get through. Some of the concepts were fascinating but also challenging to visualize.

What I didn't expect was how invested I would become in the story and its characters. As the book progressed, it transformed from an interesting scientific puzzle into something much more emotional and engaging. The balance between humor, suspense, problem-solving, and heart was incredibly well done.

I also appreciated that the characters felt human, with strengths, flaws, fears, and difficult choices that weren't always clear-cut.

A thoughtful, entertaining, and surprisingly moving sci-fi novel that kept getting better with every chapter. Definitely one of my favorite reads of the year.
