Personal Review
The Locked Door was my second Freida McFadden book, and it reminded me why her books are such addictive page-turners.
What I enjoyed most was the way the story constantly stayed one step ahead of me. Every time I felt confident that I had figured out where the plot was going, another twist would appear and make me question everything I thought I knew. Just when I settled on a theory, the story would take a different direction altogether.
The pacing was fast, the chapters kept me wanting "just one more chapter," and the suspense was maintained throughout. While I guessed a few details along the way, the overall journey was filled with enough surprises to keep me engaged until the very end.
If you're looking for a psychological thriller that keeps pulling the rug out from under you every time you think you've solved the mystery, The Locked Door is definitely worth picking up.
