Personal Review
The Inmate starts off with a slow and steady buildup, gradually pulling you deeper into the story. There isn't a moment where the plot feels unnecessarily rushed, yet somehow it becomes increasingly difficult to put down.
Freida McFadden does what she does best and keeps you questioning the characters and wondering where the story is heading. Just when you think you've figured things out and are ready to close the book, the ending delivers one final surprise.
And that epilogue! 🤯
Completely unexpected, brilliantly placed, and the perfect final touch to an already gripping story.
